Taylors, SC, March 3, 2010 – Atlanta Motor Speedway is often cited as a favorite racetrack of NASCAR drivers, and this week’s Race 2 Win Radio show will bring fans a preview of the exciting race weekend from several expert perspectives. This week’s episode, airing Thursday, March 3 from 1-3 PM ET, will feature a special live announcement from Nelson Piquet Jr., the Formula One driver competing in both the ARCA and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Piquet Jr. finished an impressive sixth in his first-ever CWTS race at Daytona in February.
Also scheduled to appear this week are NASCAR drivers James Buescher and Timothy Peters, Sprint Cup Series spotter Mike Calinoff, and a freewheeling panel of top NASCAR writers in the Writer’s Block Roundtable. The show is hosted by NASCAR veteran Jeff Holtzclaw, with co-hosts Heather Meyer of the Stock Car Gazette, RCR development driver Tim George Jr., and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Caitlin Shaw.
James Buescher, driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet Impala for Phoenix Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will also compete in the No. 31 Turner Motorsports truck for the majority of the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule, where he ran full-time last season and finished 14th in points. Buescher is competing for 2010 Rookie of the Year honors in the Nationwide Series, starting the season with an eight-place run at Daytona, and currently ranks 11th in points. Buescher is also running a partial ARCA schedule this year, posting a fourth-place finish in the season opener at Daytona.
Timothy Peters is in his second full Camping World Truck Series season and currently drives the No. 17 K&N Toyota Tundra for Red Horse Racing. Peters started 2010 with a win at Daytona International Speedway, beating Truck Series veterans Todd Bodine and Dennis Setzer to the checkers. As a result, Peters heads into Atlanta leading the CWTS championship points. He finished 15th at AMS in 2009.
Thursday’s Writer’s Block segment will feature Race 2 Win’s once-a-month Writer’s Block Roundtable, teaming up three of NASCAR’s most popular writers with news and views straight from the garage. The panel consists of Kenny Bruce, assistant managing editor of NASCAR Illustrated, Rick Minter, senior writer for RacinToday.com, and Jeff Gluck, blogger at SBNation.

Race 2 Win Radio Fans’ ‘Best Bet’ to Preview NASCAR’s Las Vegas Weekend
Taylors, SC, February 24, 2010 – It’s the third race of the still-young NASCAR season and Race 2 Win Radio will bring fans all the fanfare of racing in Las Vegas this Thursday, February 25, 1-3 PM ET. Show host Jeff Holtzclaw will moderate the exciting two-hour internet radio show that includes guests and commentators straight from the NASCAR garage and media center.
A total of four drivers will participate in Race 2 Win’s program this week, including regular 1-2 PM co-host Tim George Jr., a Richard Childress Racing Development Driver in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Additional drivers on air this week are Nelson Piquet Jr., Colin Braun, and Casey Roderick. Piquet Jr., competing part-time in the ARCA and Camping World Truck Series this season, was scheduled to call the show last week, but had to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.
Colin Braun is competing full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this year, driving the No. 16 car for Roush Fenway Racing. He qualified ninth for the season-opening NNS race at Daytona and posted a top-20 finish last weekend in Fontana. In 2008 and 2009, Braun competed full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, earning Rookie of the Year honors in 2008.
Casey Roderick, a rookie in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2010, ran one ARCA race last year at age 16 as a Bill Elliott Racing Development Driver. Competing at the famed Rockingham racetrack, he qualified third and finished second. Now 17, Roderick will begin his ARCA rookie season this weekend in the Tire Kingdom 150 on the road course of Palm Beach International Raceway.

Race 2 Win Radio Previews NASCAR Race Weekend with Talented New Co-Host
Taylors, SC, February 18, 2010 – As NASCAR heads west for a weekend of high-speed thrills in California, Race 2 Win Radio heads to the airwaves on Thursday, February 18, with a captivating lineup of guests and a brand-new show co-host.
Airing every Thursday from 1-3 PM ET, Race 2 Win Radio is anchored by regular show host, NASCAR veteran Jeff Holtzclaw. Premiering this week as permanent co-host during the 1-2 PM hour will be ARCA RE/MAX Series driver Tim George Jr., who will provide a ‘straight from the cockpit’ look at racing for listeners each week.
George Jr. was a rookie in the ARCA RE/MAX Series last season, where he ranked 11th in Championship points, and was the 2008 Grand-Am Rolex Series Rookie of the Year. He was tapped this year to pilot the No. 31 car in the ARCA RE/MAX Series as a Development Driver for Richard Childress Racing.

Taylors, SC, February 10, 2010 – The Gatorade Duel 150s will take place on the track at Daytona on Thursday, February 10 - but it will be a “duel” of a different sort during Race 2 Win Radio’s inaugural “Writer’s Block Roundtable” segment the same day, featuring three of NASCAR’s most popular writers.
NASCAR columnists Jeff Gluck, Kenny Bruce, and Rick Minter will be trading their mouse pads for microphones as they meet on air to preview the biggest race of the NASCAR season. Listeners will be treated to the trio’s unique insights, direct from Daytona, along with a vibrant discussion of the week’s hottest racing topics.
Also joining the Thursday broadcast will be drivers Ricky Carmichael and Justin Lofton, both participating in Daytona racing this weekend.
Carmichael, who finished seventh in last weekend’s ARCA race on the 2.5-mile Daytona track, will compete Friday in the season-opening NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona, driving the No. 4 Monster Energy Chevrolet for Turner Motorsports.
