Autoliv Teams with Andy Petree Racing for Daytona 500
AUBURN HILLS, MICH., FEB. 5, 2002 – Autoliv Inc.– the safety technology innovator and world's largest supplier of automotive safety systems – has signed with Andy Petree Racing Inc. as its primary sponsor for the Daytona 500 race this month.
The team’s owner, Andy Petree, echoed Jackson’s comments. “We’re looking forward to having a company like Autoliv support us at Daytona,” said Petree. “A corporation like Autoliv knows the business and industry. Autoliv provides numerous exciting safety innovations for passenger vehicles, and it’s great having an industry leader like that team up with us – even just for the one race.”
